During the recent Auto Shanghai 2009, VOK DAMS China successfully managed various projects that took place beween April, 18 – 28, in Shanghai. Major client projects were completed for Volkswagen Group China (Hospitality, Fashion), Volkswagen AG (Press), MINI (Entertainment Press Conference) and Shanghai Volkswagen (Entertainment and Booth Management).
At the Auto Show itself three teams worked around the clock to organize perfect entertainment programmes for the MINI, Volkswagen Group China and Shanghai Volkswagen booths.
At the MINI booth all spectators were amazed as two young and vibrant dancers flip jumped down from a car suspended three metres high. It was the perfect uplifting surprise for a press conference and very fitting with MINI’s image.
At Volkswagen, VOK DAMS conceptualized and coordinated innovative fashion garments, which were easily the most modern and stylish outfits throughout the Auto Show. Not only were the pieces stunning, each piece was also specially made with technologically nature inspired materials.
At the Shanghai Volkswagen booth, the message was similarly communicated through the entertainment. VOK DAMS chose models and garments which complemented the distinct personalities of each car. Each hour, the booth was then brought to life as two cheer squads battled to cheer on the Shanghai Volkswagen brand with an energetic combination of back flips, up-high balancing acts and launch-jump-catches.
Behind the scenes, for the fourth year in a row VOK DAMS were invited to manage the VIP hospitality for Volkswagen Group China’s most important guests. This year the hospitality lounge, located on the 32nd floor of Shanghai’s Hyatt on the Bund, gave guests a magnificent overall view of Shanghai’s east and west river banks.
As always VOK DAMS readily took the role of managing the Volkswagen Group China and Volkswagen AG Press shuttles, accommodating to every last transportation request.
