Singapore will host the first-ever Youth Olympic Games in August 2010.
Top athletes between the ages of 14 and 18 will make their mark in the world sporting arena in Singapore.
The Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee (SYOGOC) announced the appointment of Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre (Suntec Singapore) as the Official Convention Centre Partner for the inaugural Youth Olympic Games (YOG).
Suntec Singapore will be the dedicated Singapore 2010 venue for six sports competitions – Boxing, Fencing, Handball, Judo, Taekwondo and Wrestling and is the venue that will accommodate the most number of sports competition under one roof.
