Richard Builder has joined Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC) taking up the new role of Technical Services Manager.
Recently returning to Adelaide after working for the past three years as a Product Manager for one of Australia’s largest audio equipment distributors, Audio Product Group, Mr Builder will oversee the technical services teams at the Centre ensuring best practice technical solutions and logistics for the centre.
Adelaide Convention Centre Chief Executive Alec Gilbert said the new position would ensure a more integrated approach to technology, right from the development of concepts through to service delivery.
“Mr Builder will oversee what in the past have been two separate departments: Technical Services and Technical Planning,” he said.
“We are pleased to have someone of Mr Builder’s calibre on board who will help Adelaide Convention Centre to continue to deliver cutting-edge technological solutions to our clients.”
Mr Builder previously worked for Skycity Adelaide Casino as the Entertainment Executive and for many years as a well respected audio engineer and event manager.
