From now until the end of the financial year the Brisbane Convention Bureau is offering meeting and event planners the chance to win a $150 gift card each month.
To be in the running, meeting planners simply need to head to the Bureau’s website – www.meetinbrisbane.com – and submit a Request for Proposal for a confirmed meeting or event.*
Brisbane Marketing Director Business Events, Ms Annabel Sullivan said the Request for Proposal service was a simple, straight-forward strategy for meeting planners to source suppliers in the Brisbane region.
“Our RFP service is of great benefit to event organisers with confirmed business for Brisbane,” said Ms Sullivan.
“It’s the ideal way to find the right venues and services for their meeting and offers a streamlined option for sourcing essential quotes and costings from Brisbane’s business events operators.
“It’s as easy as completing an online form and outlining the details of the event along with any special requirements.
“The automated system matches the requirements to suitable local industry suppliers who then make direct contact with the event organiser.”
In addition to the Request for Proposal service, the Brisbane Convention Bureau offers meeting and event planners assistance with bid preparation, site inspections, familiarisations, delegate boosting and pre and post touring options.
The Bureau – recently named Queensland’s best Metropolitan Convention Bureau/Tourism Organisation by MEA – also produces the Brisbane Meeting Planners’ Guide and Brisbane Unique Venues Guide.
