Exhibition Hire / Expo Hire has added a cutting-edge curved shell scheme to its extensive product range, successfully introducing the design to Australia’s exhibition floors for the first time in February and April.
Combining Octanorm’s new curved Maxima posts and special mitred rails, the shell scheme was utilised in a series of exhibition stands at the 17th Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre in February, which attracted a record 868 exhibitors and 3,584 trade visitors.
Exhibition Hire / Expo Hire was the major exhibition supplier for AIME 2009, building more than 35 custom and upgrade stands.
Demonstrating the versatility of the Octanorm components, Exhibition Hire / Expo Hire also used the curved posts to create a striking entrance feature at last month’s Danks National Trade Show & Conference in Melbourne.
“The curved design marks a significant break away from the traditional shell stands that have dominated exhibition floors for years and shows that today’s convention and exhibition organisers are looking for new products that will give their event an individual look and atmosphere,” said Jim Delahunty, CEO, Exhibition Hire / Expo Hire.
Exhibition Hire / Expo Hire was the first Australian exhibition supplier to utilise Octanorm’s curved posts at a major trade exhibition and clients can now order the curved shell scheme from the company’s offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane/Gold Coast.
“New shell schemes have been introduced on a small scale in the past, but we have the largest supply of the new Octanorm components of any exhibition supplier in Australia, so our team of project managers, designers and production staff can service the biggest shows and handle the most ambitious of designs,” said Delahunty.
