Returning to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) for its third time in nine years, Air Supply dazzled a capacity audience of over 8,000 patrons with a superb performance during its Never Ending Love Concert last Friday evening (12 June 2009).
The concert was organised by Wolfman Jack Entertainment (WJE), one of the most active promoters in Hong Kong using the HKCEC’s Hall 5BC in its concert configuration for music events.
WJE President, Roks Lam said, “It was so fabulous to have Air Supply back in Hong Kong. They sang their hearts out again and the audience responded constantly with their energy through applause, singing along, and cheering Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock on."
"I am delighted with the support that Hong Kong gives to great artists through their participations in the concert. It is great that we have such a venue in the heart of Hong Kong and professional management to ensure a proper venue operation and dedicated customer services for the patrons.”
Monica Lee-Müller, HKCEC Deputy Managing Director said, “This was a particularly great concert. It was wonderful to experience the sold out performance as it was the first international artist concert reaching this capacity since Hall 5BC opened to full capacity following completion of an expansion to the HKCEC in April."
"We are also very grateful to Roks Lam, our most active concert organiser, who has brought over 30 concerts to our Centre.”
Lam was recognised and presented with a gift from HKCEC Managing Director, Cliff Wallace, on stage just prior to the concert.
