Nominations for the coveted AIME Industry Person of the Year Awards, Best Environmental Stand Award and Best Environmental Supplier Award will close on Friday 30 January.
Established in 2006, the Industry Person of the Year Awards are presented at AIME each year and honour an individual from the Asia Pacific and another from the international arena.
The awards recognize best practice and contribution to the business events industry.
AIME International Industry Person of the Year Award winners have included Robin Lokerman (2006), Martin Sirk (2007) and Martin Lewis (2008).
The Asia Pacific winners have included Sandra Passaro (2006), Anthony Wong (2007) and Elizabeth Rich (2008).
Introduced in 2008, the Best Environmental Stand Award and the Best Environmental Suppliers Awards take into account the company’s commitment to the environment and to assisting AIME to reduce its carbon footprint.
Criteria for all awards are available on the website. Nominations and submissions can be made online at www.aime.com.au. The deadline for nominations is 30 January 2009.
The AIME Awards will be presented on Wednesday, 18 February at 9.45am on the concourse outside the main entry to AIME at the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre. AIME is at the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre, Australia, 17 & 18 February 2009.
