Mr. Travis McCready will be responsible for oversight of the company’s three event venues, and the strategic planning and implementation of the company’s growth initiatives.

Brand diversification initiatives include new retail concepts to be launched in Summer 2009 and brand enhancement and development plans that include exclusive celebrity partnerships creating a top tier signature style that will launch Longwood Events into the national and international spotlight.
Mr. McCready most recently held the position of Chief Operating Officer of the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA) where he oversaw all operational functions including event & guest services, short term sales & marketing, building engineering and maintenance and food & beverage for the Authority’s entire portfolio of properties which includes both Boston Convention Centers.
His focus during his tenure was to fully engage customers, increase service profitability and unify the Authority’s service culture.
Previous to his post as COO, he held the positions of Assistant Executive Director for Strategy & Finance and CFO for the MCCA. He also served as the Chief of Staff at The Boston Foundation, held a leadership post at Harvard University and practiced corporate law at Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. in Minneapolis, MN.
A graduate of Yale University, Mr. McCready serves on a number of boards in the Boston community, including the Board of Trustees of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and the Board of Overseers of the Boston Institute of Contemporary Art.
