The long-awaited "Super Bowl of Conventions," ASAE & The Center's 2009 Annual Meeting & Exposition, convenes in Toronto, August 15-18, bringing an estimated $7 million in revenue for the city.

Twenty percent of association executives who attend ASAE & The Center's Annual Meeting will book a meeting in the host city in the five years following the convention, bringing additional revenue in the years to come.
Associations dominate the $102 billion meetings industry, spending more than $60 billion annually to hold conventions and other meetings in destinations throughout Canada and the United States.
Associations represent a wide range of collective interests including professional industries, businesses and philanthropic causes.
