ME Productions rolls out the Red Carpet for South Florida Publicists

Linda-HamburgerFlorida's largest event productions company, ME Productions, once again rolled out the red carpet for members and guests of the South Florida Public Relations Network (SFPRN) at its corporate headquarters in Pembroke Park on Thursday, August 27.

Over 40 South Florida Publicists and Event Production Professionals attended the reception in the ME showroom, now being opened for the first time to host private parties and functions.

ME Productions provided the venue, incredible décor, and fabulous floral designs.

Some of the best South Florida vendors donated music, beverages, fantastic desserts and entertainment. Photographer Peter Caspari snapped pics of the guests and Peter is always much appreciated for his donated time and efforts!

Those companies that pitched in for the party included: PartyTime DJ's; Environmental Connections / Safari Party; Natasha Lipshtick & The Psychic Yentas; Geddy the Gekko; Café Ala Carte; Suzy's Scrumptious Sweets; Catering by EggWhites; beverages courtesy of Potions in Motion; and  "Pictures In a Minute," for corporate events and "Photo Shoppe" for social events.

Guests also enjoyed a prize raffle, and the opportunity to meet the professionals "behind-the-scenes" that create high-end memorable events throughout the area that many attend.

There were many recognized names in the PR, events, and marcomm industry in attendance.

Guests included Sharon Geltner, media and PR chair of the Coalition of Boynton West Residential Associations (COBWRA); City of Doral Events Coordinator Marlene Quincoces; Gold Coast Jazz Society Executive Director Pam Dearden; Peggy Calhoun, senior principal of Calhoun & Company; Broward Navy Days Chairman, Joe Millsaps; Executive Editor of OnBoard Media, Kate McClare; and our wonderful hosts, ME Productions CEO Hal Etkin and ME's president, Jim Etkin.

Plus dozens of others who mixed, mingled and networked for the two hour reception.

It was a real zoo just getting in the door to enter ME's "fab" showroom. Geddy the Gecko aka performance artist John Mallory immediately delighted with his outdoor antics. You may have seen John's amazing performance featured four times for over 38 million viewers on Simon Cowell's NBC TV show with host Regis Philbin.

Next up... a REAL LIVE Gecko along with many of his exotic friends courtesy of Environmental Connections / Safari Party. The interactive exhibit featured furry and friendly critters of all sorts: Kinkajous (Honey Bears); Anteaters; sloths; an "escapist" gator; African Bullfrog; sugar Gliders; Chinchilla; Kinkajou, and more!

Enter the show-room and ME never disappoints. They are tops in décor and florals and, as the largest event producers in the state, deliver exactly what you would expect.

A demonstration of elegant seating arrangements set the stage for the open bar provided by Potions in Motion and sweets galore from Susies' Scrumptious Sweets (you might want to visit their complementary cake tastings held every Saturday at their Nob Hill Road bakery in Sunrise).

Keepsakes from the event were provided by Pictures in a Minute, instantly transporting people into settings and magazine covers of their own choosing. Natasha Lipshtick & The Psychic Yentas made certain that the future was more certain, with take-home interpretations of lip print analysis, aura reading or the more traditional palm reading,

This was a not-to-be-missed SFPRN event and ME Productions can make the same thing happen for you. The showroom is only now being made available for private parties and functions.
