Longwood Events announced that Ms Winn DeLugas has been appointed Director of Sales & Business Development at the Boston based company.
Ms DeLugas will direct the sales efforts of all three of Longwood's boutique event venues with the intention of developing a team of sales professionals that will not only embrace the company spirit, but achieve personal growth and professional development simultaneously.
The team will manage bookings for the corporate, wedding and social markets.
Longwood Events, with corporate offices located in Boston, Massachusetts, is a New England premier full service event planning and management company boasting a portfolio of exclusive and distinctive venues including the stunning, contemporary oceanside setting of Belle Mer in Newport, RI, the ultra-chic urban setting of State Room in Downtown Boston and the magnificent old world grandeur of Veronique in Brookline, MA.
Ms Delugas comes to Longwood Events with a background in sales and hospitality operations.
Most recently she worked for Meeting & Incentive Management in Las Vegas, Nevada focusing on full service meeting and event planning. Prior to her tenure at M.I.M. she oversaw the Southeast Regional Franchise Services operations for Century 21 Real.
Ms DeLugas also held positions as Director of Catering & Conference management at the Peabody Hotel in Orlando, Florida and as Director of Catering for Hyatt Hotels Corporation, managing catering operations at the Nashville, TN, New Brunswick, NJ and Washington, D.C. properties.

Ms. Delugas holds a B.S. Degree in Psychology from Georgia State University and currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts.
