Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre Named Best Exhibition & Convention Centre In China

Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre (ZZICEC) was awarded the Best Convention and Exhibition Centre in China of 2006 at the 3rd China International Convention and Exhibition Cultural Festival and the 2007 China Convention and Exhibition Annual Meeting.

 

Zhengzhou was also named the Best Exhibition and Convention City (Service & Facility) and the Most Energetic Exhibition & Convention City. The event was held in Shenzhen in July this year.

 

ZZICEC is managed by the Hong Kong Shanghai Venue Management (Zhengzhou) Ltd (VMZL) since June 2006.

 

Mr. Cliff Wallace, Chairman of the VMZL, is delighted with the awards and accolades from the peers.

 

“The recognition from the industry professionals demonstrates the potential of developing exhibition and convention industry in Zhengzhou, and ZZICEC the ideal venue for hosting international exhibitions. The tremendous support from the Zhengzhou Municipal Government and the dedicated working team in ZZICEC are indispensable,” he said.

 

From June 2006 to May 2007, ZZICEC had hosted 18 exhibitions for different industries, drawing nearly one million visitors from China and abroad.

 

The forthcoming exhibitions to be held in ZZICEC include the 13th Zhengzhou National Commodities & Consumer Products Expo (2 – 4 November 2007) and the First China (Zhengzhou) Printing & Packing Product Expo (16 – 18 November 2007). 

 

The awards were presented by the 4th China Conference & Exhibition Industry Award Organizing Committee. The committee members are the industry professionals invited by the renowned trade publication “China Convention & Exhibition”.

 

The Industry Awards was launched in 2001 with the aim of promoting and enhancing the service quality of the convention and exhibition industry in China. It has since emerged as the most credible and influential awards in the industry.
