Clarion Management Resources, a full-service association management company, is pleased to announce the addition of Tina Wehmeir to its senior staff as Vice President, Marketing.

 

Wehmeir brings more than 15 years of management and marketing experience in the association and hospitality arenas to her new position, as well as a wealth of professional relationships as an active leader in a host of association industry organizations.

 

Throughout her professional career, Wehmeir has contributed to the association sector.

 

Her volunteer leadership at American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) has included stints as Chair of ASAE’s Industry Partner Associate Committee, as well as seats on the ASAE Summit Awards Dinner Steering Committee, Chairman’s Associate Advisory Panel (CAAP) and the Associations Advance America (AAA) Committee.

 

Wehmeir also currently serves on PCMA’s Annual Meeting Program Committee and MPI’s Women’s Leadership Initiative Committee.  She has also served on The Center for Association Leadership’s Springtime Committee.

 

Most recently, Wehmeir has served as Executive Director for Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC), where she helped create a unified marketing strategy to maximize the exposure of CTC’s  partners in the U.S. market. Prior to joining CTC, Wehmeir served as the Vice President of Industry Relations for Gaylord Hotels.

 

She has also served as Executive Director of Regional Sales Offices for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, various sales and marketing positions with Loews Hotels and Director of Meetings & Special Events, Construction Industry Manufacturers Association (CIMA.)
