VisitBritain, the UK's national tourism marketing agency, announced a new online subscription service, Tourism Insights, offering the ultimate tourism resource tool for those interested in the latest research, trends and developments in the tourism industry.

 

Published by VisitBritain in association with Tourism Together, Tourism Insights enables users to share sector expertise, analysis and intelligence, and is available online to subscribers.

 

The website enables users to monitor developments in the UK tourism market, analysing and interpreting trends and opportunities and keeps users completely up to date via easy to read articles.

 

Subscription to the service will allow users access to the updated Destination Managers Handbook – a “how to” resource for those working in destination management (available online, summer 2008).

 

The online service provides five new articles every month, 24/7 access to latest industry debate, opinion, research and intelligence, an article achieve search facility from 2000 – 2004 and searchable easy to find information.

The online tool has evolved from the Insights service previously offered only in hard copy format in previous years. Using the online service, subscribers can also opt in to receive a quarterly print journal featuring three months’ worth of articles as an additional resource tool – invaluable for libraries and as a hard copy resource.

 

Annual online subscription fees start at £300.00 + VAT, with rates for multi users, schools, libraries and other groups.
