Friday’s Media Group has been appointed by VisitBrighton to undertake their UK and European PR campaign.

 

With over £200m of new development, Brighton is recognised both nationally and internationally as a successful and dynamic conference destination.

 

The city has the ability to cater for a large variety of conferences of different sizes at unique and specialised conference venues.

 

Situated under an hour from London and only half-an-hour from London Gatwick airport on the M25, Brighton, has the advantage of being a genuinely easily accessible city, with thousands of hotel rooms and a range of conference centres and venues within walking distance.

 

VisitBrighton’s convention bureau has undergone a transformation over the last six months. Led by VisitBrighton’s head of marketing, Melanie Sensicle, the team has been more than doubled since summer 2005.

 

The team also has a refreshed remit. With the support of city hotels and venues they are renewing their focus on large international and national events and concentrating on association business in particular.
