The biggest commercial exhibition of the Montreux Convention and Exhibition Center has confirmed its reservations until the year 2008. The corresponding contracts have already been signed.

The foundation for this long lasting planification is based on the partnership agreement created in 2003. It was a sine qua non for the creation of future strategies and the development of new events, completing the most important meeting in the tourism field.

The Travel Trade Workshop was created in 1975 and has been held ever since in Montreux. It became the undisputed leader in this field, both on a national and international level.

In 2004, 6’878 decision makers of the travel industry were present, either to discover and get acquainted with the new trends, or to conduct negotiations, as well as for training or continuous training and networking.

The vigorous organisation and the novelties had a positive influence on numbers. Compared to the previous year, 11% more surface was sold, 10% more exhibitors registered and there were 3% more visitors.

The already rich agenda of the TTW was completed with the Hotela Travel Summit and the MICE Point Switzerland (platform in the segment of the Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition industry).

As for The BusContact, the courses of continuous training and the workshops for the apprentices, they were visited more than ever before. However, the awarding of the Travel Star is the absolute crowning point of those three days. The synergies of all those various activities have created an even more dynamic environment for the TTW.

Precise goals and objectives have been confirmed by signing these contracts, which clearly proves the cooperation to be a success. This positive situation bodes well for the 30th anniversary in 2005.
