Melbourne Convention + Visitors Bureau (MCVB) announced the appointment of Tim Sullivan to the position of Director - Government and Strategic Partnerships.
MCVB’s Chief Executive Officer, Sandra Chipchase said, “We are delighted to have Tim as a member of the Executive team. His extensive experience in conference management, event delivery, Ministerial and Government liaison, developing and assessing funding applications and contract management will be invaluable. We are extremely fortunate to have secured someone of Tim’s calibre and experience in what will be a pivotal role at MCVB.”
Tim has worked for the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet as the State’s Manager of Special Events; as Executive Director of the Australia Day Committee (VIC); Manager of the Centenary of Federation (VIC); and was a Senior Account Executive with Conference Australia for many years.
Tim’s current role is Manager Industry Marketing within the Business Development area of the Victoria Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development (DIIRD). He will join MCVB in July. |
