This year from 6 – 9 November, ICCA will be holding its congress in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Between 450 and 550 meetings industry colleagues from around the world are planning to attend what promises to be ground-breaking sessions with world renowned speakers.

Just announced, the keynote speaker for the “Copenhagen Lecture” on Wednesday morning, November 9th, will be one of the world’s leading futurists, Tim Mack.

Tim Mack is a speaker, author and consultant as well as head of the leading international association; the World Futurists Society. He is a Far East expert who has recently run forums in Korea and Taiwan, and is a leading expert in issues such as Nanotechnology, the cultural, social, and economic impact of the internet and information age, and city development issues.

In addition, he was Vice President of Research for 5 years for WPP, the world's largest communication company.

The Copenhagen Lecture will open the day's programme at the ICCA Congress, and will then be followed by the Discussion Forums.

Tim Mack will sit in and contribute to those subject areas which are looking at the future of our industry. And before the closing plenary business session, he will speak again to pick up on the themes that have been raised by our delegates, and to point out some key future trends that were not discussed but which perhaps should have been.
