The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (QEIICC), London’s prestigious purpose-built venue in the heart of Westminster, recently hosted a hugely informative education event, with an array of influential and educational participants and guests.

Organised by Vanguard Education, the sell out event followed an earlier date in Edinburgh on 6th October and was billed as “one day that could change the way you think”. Attendees and participants at the Centre were provided with state of the art surroundings for the talks and seminars.

Participants at the event included the controversial John Seddon who gave a popular seminar entitled ‘Freedom from Command & Control – the Toyota system for service organisations.’ An outspoken critic of conventional management thinking, John Seddon translated the Toyota system, whose results are legendary, for service organisations leading to improved service, reduced costs and a transformation of morale.

Angela Wallbank at Vanguard Education comments “The Freedom from Command and Control seminar presented by John Seddon at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre was a resounding, sell out success.”

Stephen Norcliffe, commercial director for the Centre commented “To have such an event held at the Centre is a great compliment to us. We strive to provide visitors with quality equipment and surroundings for such events and are pleased the event was so successful.”
