One thousand and eight sophisticated leather seats in a very pale shade of green (a specially created shade); solid oak flooring, walls, ceilings and stage; excellent acoustics and totally soundproof; complete wiring and wi-fi preparation; seven simultaneous translation booths; an audiovisual editing booth equipped for postproduction, from which it is possible to send live audiovisual contributions to TV or radio; two cinematographic projection machines. These are just some of the main characteristics of this great shell-shaped space, carefully designed down to the smallest details – such as the sound-absorbing seats or the incredibly silent air distribution system - entirely designed and created by Fiera Milano and its subsidiary company Eurostands, which will be managed by Fiera Milano Congressi, a company belonging to the Fiera Milano Group. But the real strong point of the fieramilano Auditorium is its extraordinary versatility. Depending on requirements, in fact, it can be used as a congress hall (with 1000, 750, or 350 seats), or as a cinema, thanks to a disappearing 45 m2 screen; an auditorium for classical music concerts or theatre; a unique and large space for events, fashion shows, or gala dinners, obtained by moving the seats, which are all removable, or a stage for fashion shows. This new space makes the Fiera Milano Congressi offer even more vast and qualified. As a matter of fact, the company already manages the Milano Convention Centre – MIC, the largest convention centre in “The opening of this beautiful hall – says Michele Perini, President of Fiera Milano – is truly the last act in the realisation of the new Fiera Milano, which is now complete even in its convention structures.
