TBA Global Events, a leader in corporate events and lifestyle marketing has announced the acquisition of all the assets of PGI – The Strategic Event Agency.

 

Effective Monday, July 25, 2005, TBA Global Events will assume the operation of all the offices and services of the Washington, DC based PGI. The acquisition of PGI is expected to increase the annual revenue of the company to the range of $175 million and allows TBA Global Events to expand its client base to Canada and Europe. The company will remain headquartered in Southern California.

 

Since 2004, when TBA Global Events was acquired by entertainment industry executive Robert Geddes and JHW Greentree, an affiliate of J.H. Whitney & Co., and Irving Azoff, the company has experienced substantial growth with the production of such keystone events as Herbalife’s 25th Anniversary Extravaganza, 2005 Presidential Inaugural Youth Day Event and SAP Sapphire 2005.

 

TBA Global Events has successfully built a roster of top US companies including SAP, Intel, Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, Herbalife and Hospira among others.

Founded in 1990, PGI has been responsible for more than 2,500 events annually throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. PGI developed five areas of expertise - Creative and Production Services, Interactive Services, Exhibition Services, Meeting Services and Destination Services. Their client roster includes Exxon Mobil, Ford, IBM, Aventis and Nestlé Foods among others.
