Schneider Publishing Becomes DMAI Alliance Partner

Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI) announced that Schneider Publishing Company has joined the association's elite Alliance Partner program.

Alliance Partner status is reserved for a select group of service and product providers that are valuable resources for destination marketing organizations (DMOs) and make a significant investment in the association.

Schneider Publishing Company provides destination marketing organizations access to association executives and meeting planners through its magazine, Association News, and to the sports-related travel and event industry through SportsTravel magazine and TEAMS: Travel, Events And Management in Sports, an annual conference and trade show.

"Schneider Publishing is pleased to support DMAI through the Alliance Partner program," said Timothy Schneider, the company's president & CEO. "The growth of Association News, SportsTravel and the TEAMS Conference during the past several years is in large part due to the tremendous support we receive from the DMO community. DMAI's Alliance Partner program provides us a way to support an industry that is key to our continued growth."

Schneider Publishing Company has been actively involved with DMAI and its annual conventions since 1997. Schneider Publishing became one of the association's business partners in 2004.

In 2006, Timothy Schneider began a three-year term on the DMAI Foundation Board of Trustees, which oversees the Foundation's mission to enhance the destination marketing industry through research, education, visioning and developing resources and partnerships for those efforts.

"We are delighted that—after several years of strongly supporting our organization through volunteered time and sponsorships—Schneider Publishing has signed on as an Alliance Partner," said DMAI President & CEO Michael D. Gehrisch.

"As part of the Alliance Partnership, we're planning to actively promote membership in DMAI to our DMO clients who are not currently members," said Schneider. "From our perspective, this is truly exciting, as it moves us from mere sponsors to true partners in the continued growth of DMAI and the industry."
