The Regal Airport Hotel in Hong Kong has been voted the Best Airport Hotel in Asia Pacific in the Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards 2007 organised by Business Traveller Asia-Pacific.

It is the seventh consecutive year that the hotel has been honored with such recognition.

Mr Richard Hodges, the General Manager of the Regal Airport Hotel, said, “It is our great honour to receive the award again this year. As the only meeting and conference centre hotel directly connected to the Hong Kong International Airport, and located at the region’s primary transportation hub, providing impeccable service and a comfortable environment for business travellers with high expectations remains our mission. Our team of qualified and friendly staff strives to provide attentive service to our guests and this award is the recognition of their efforts. I would like to express my special thanks to my staff for their individual and collective contributions that make this award possible.”

Ms Cary Au Yeung, the Travel Services Manager of adidas Group, praised the hotel saying, “We have just held the adidas Group event at Regal Airport Hotel. Since the hotel is very close to the airport, it is really convenient and time saving for our delegates from overseas. Moreover, we really feel the hospitality and professionalism from all levels of staff in the hotel. Everyone is well aware of our event and knows our needs. Although we always had last minute changes and requests, they can fix it immediately. We are now planning our next year’s event in the hotel.”

The Regal Airport Hotel Meeting & Conference Centre is the only airport hotel connected directly to the passenger terminal of Hong Kong International Airport by an enclosed, air-conditioned link bridge.

With sophisticated transportation networks, the hotel is just 23 minutes from the business, finance and shopping district of Central via the Airport Express Line. AsiaWorld-Expo can be reached in 1 minute from the hotel by the Airport Express or 5 minutes by foot through the direct footpath connection.

The nearby Hong Kong Disneyland can also be reached by public transport in 30 minutes or limousine in 7 minutes, while the Ngong Ping 360 cable car is 4 minutes away by public transport.

The Regal Airport Hotel offers 1,104 rooms, state-of-the-art meeting and banquet facilities including one of Hong Kong’s largest pillar less hotel ballrooms and 31 function rooms, authentic cuisines with 6 restaurants and bar, and a complete range of recreational facilities featuring an outdoor pool and indoor heated pool and a new spa.
