A record number of professional meeting planners from across the region have pre-registered to attend Destinations Showcase Conference & Expo, taking a place at the Washington Convention Center on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006.

Now in its twentieth year, Destinations Showcase Washington is the Mid-Atlantic's largest forum exclusively matching attending corporate, government, association, and independent meeting planners with exhibiting convention and visitor bureaus (CVBs) from the U.S. and around the world.

Highlights of this full-day event include a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Breakfast and the option to attend any two of eight morning education sessions-presented by a Who's Who of 22 meetings industry experts.

The afternoon kicks off with a networking lunch, followed by a newly added keynote presentation by Terry Jones, founder of Travelocity.com, and an expo featuring more than 200 exhibiting destinations from the U.S., Canada, and around the world.
