From now through June 30th, 2008, savvy, savings-minded meeting planners in search of a world-class meeting experience can take advantage of the Puerto Rico Convention Bureau’s ‘Great Rate Escape,’ offering outstanding values and additional cash back incentives to groups who choose Puerto Rico.

To take advantage of the ‘Great Rate Escape,’ planners must book a meeting taking place in August, September or October of 2008, 2009 or 2010 to receive discounts in hotel rates, restaurants, catering, ground transportation, event management, entertainment, audio-visual services, promotional items and more.

In addition to enjoying special savings that includes 15 percent on hotel room rates and up to 25 percent on other products and services, planners can also earn a cash sponsorship of up to $5.00 per consumed room night (up to $5,000.00) to groups that use four (4) or more Bureau member-suppliers (i.e., 1. Hotel; 2. Transportation; 3. Audio-Visual; 4. Photographer).

For example, a group of 200 room nights that utilizes three participating Bureau member-suppliers will receive $1,000.00 that can be applied to additional meeting costs, such as photographers, caterers, area attractions and more.
