The Puerto Rico Convention Bureau has recently implemented a new program to garner meeting planners' feedback on their experience in planning their events in Puerto Rico. 

This program, which addresses every aspect of the meeting planning experience, from pre-event logistics to post-event procedures, provides a forum for meeting planners to fully evaluate their experiences developing their event in Puerto Rico.

As a result of this program, the PRCB has been able to ascertain areas of continued improvement and celebrate customer service excellence among member suppliers.

Quarterly, the PRCB will honor two members, a hotel and a non-hotel member, for receiving the highest quality ratings by meeting planners by awarding them the Excellence Service Award.

Likewise, each year, the Bureau will determine the highest rated hotel and non-hotel member and honor them at our Annual Membership Meeting.

The following two members achieved the highest overall scores from Meeting Planners holding events in Puerto Rico during FY 04-05; and as such represent the excellence in service that Puerto Rico as a destination strive to provide to clients.

Ritz-Carlton San Juan Hotel, Spa & Casino - 93%

Meeting Planner Feedback: "The service and attention to detail we were shown during our conference was tremendous. It was a wonderful destination with a general feeling of warmth and hospitality. It was a pleasure to host our meeting at the Ritz Carlton. We would certainly consider Puerto Rico as a destination for another meeting when it is appropriate to do so again."

Travel Services Inc. - 93%

Meeting Planner Feedback: "Our experience was one of the most memorable ones, in part due to the excellent and professional execution of Travel Service. If we come back to Puerto Rico for another meeting, we will be using Travel Services once again."
