TLC, formerly TheLisbonConsortium, decided to change its image in order to more accurately reflect the company’s business development.

 

This Destination Management Company (DMC), which began its activity in 2002 and focuses on MICE management, presents the concept of “360º Events in Portugal” as its new signature.

 

According to TLC’s Executive Director, Diogo Assis, the reason for this concept change is “the accumulated experience gained in the last 2 years which has allowed us to expand our action area to cover the whole country. So, the signature that only focused on the regions of Lisbon, Estoril and Sintra became inaccurate”.

 

He adds that “all the team felt the need for an image that would translate our essence – dynamism, flexibility and creativity. And that’s why the new concept “360º events in Portugal” makes sense”.

 

As a DMC, “TLC has an important role in the promotion of our country. This is a concern that is always kept in mind when making a proposal for each event: that our clients are presented with the best image possible of Portugal and that comes back, to either corporative or individual initiatives”, mentions Diogo Assis.

 

In addition to an extremely rigorous selection of business partners from different areas such as accommodation, transport, entertainment and even specialized guides and luxury transport, the team know-how is another important

factor behind business success.

 

Above all, the key-word for TLC is quality, and this concern is reflected in the company’s results as well as in the increase in client loyalty rates.

 

The new image was recently presented at the IMEX show in Frankfurt, where TLC was represented at the Portuguese stand, promoted by ICEP.
