Many of the US’s leading speakers will appear at Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) education programs in 2005-2006 as part of a partnership agreement between PCMA and the National Speakers Association (NSA).

“This partnership is as an expansion of an excellent ongoing relationship we have with NSA,” says PCMA Chairman Gregg H. Talley, CAE, president of Talley Management Group. “PCMA members can take advantage of the knowledge these speakers offer, and NSA speakers can gain exposure to their best potential clients. Everyone wins.”

Many NSA speakers have agreed to speak at the PCMA Annual Meeting, Leadership Retreat, Leadership Governance Conference, PCMA Education Foundation Partnership Summit, and PCMA chapter meetings in exchange for soft-dollar compensation such as complimentary meeting registrations, exposure opportunities through PCMA, and expense reimbursement.

“NSA members recognize how valuable PCMA members are to their professional speaking opportunities,” explains NSA President Scott Friedman. “That’s why so many of them have stepped forward to participate in this program. We’re very pleased to be expanding this partnership and building the NSA brand through the exposure PCMA is providing.”
