Passkey International, Inc., a worldwide leader in on-line group reservations, has appointed Steven L. Shapiro as its CFO and senior vice president of operations.

With over 25 years of financial, administrative and operational management experience, Steve Shapiro is a versatile Chief Financial Officer with a history of accomplishments, including leading companies through periods of rapid growth including a successful IPO.

In addition to serving as Passkey’s CFO, Shapiro will serve as Senior VP of operations, with primary focus on expediting implementation and delivery, and maximizing the value of the Passkey experience through world-class client support and customer service.

Prior to joining Passkey, Steve was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at SquareAnswer, an Internet technology company. Previously, he served as CFO at companies within the software, telecom, biosciences and retail industries. Steve began his career in public accounting and was a Senior Manager at Arthur Andersen.

Shapiro is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Shapiro currently resides in Needham, MA.
