Orlando's Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) is forming an Exhibitor Advisory Committee focusing on partnerships with exhibitors. The new committee will identify and address issues and trends that directly affect exhibitors.

"We restructured our Exhibit Services Department a year ago offering customized and personal services including online ordering. This is our next step in providing the very best value to exhibitors, by getting their feedback," said Tom Ackert, executive director of the Orange County Convention Center.

Members of the existing OCCC Client Advisory Board will be asked to recommend one of their exhibitors to serve on the Exhibitor Advisory Committee.

Representatives from the Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA), Exhibitor Appointed Contractor's Association (EACA) and Exhibition Services & Contractors Association (ESCA) will also be invited to participate.

The OCCC Client Advisory Board (CAB) began in October 2000, meets twice a year, and is made of the country's most highly recognized leaders in citywide meetings and conventions. CAB members provide guidance with regard to the OCCC's operational policies and procedures.

CAB members also collaborate on marketing opportunities to increase attendance and work with Orlando's Citywide Task Force to enhance citywide meetings.
