Similar to the features found at only the most sophisticated properties, the world-class Pan Pacific Seattle will introduce an innovative concept of "High Touch, High Tech, High Style," setting a new standard for excellence in Seattle with "designed for the individual" service and amenities.

Opening date is slated for October 2006.

Top of mind is the hotel’s stunning new function space. Perfect for banquets, meetings, conferences, weddings and events, Seattle’s most luxurious, contemporary facilities will include 5,405 square feet of space, comprised of seven separate rooms, ranging in capacity from 10 to 300 guests.

Each of Pan Pacific Seattle’s function rooms features natural sunlight and an outside patio off the foyer, with magnificent views of the Space Needle and the European inspired courtyard of 2200.

As Seattle’s new elite, urban destination, Pan Pacific Seattle will also feature 160 high-style Hirsch Bedner-designed guest rooms, with flat screen TVs and flexible in-room working spaces; wireless broadband connectivity available throughout the hotel; a sleek and modern library lounge offering cocktails and light snacks; full service fitness center; the aforementioned 5,405 square feet of function space; and 24-hour private dining.

Located at the corner of Denny Way and Westlake Avenue, the Pan Pacific Hotel is part of the 2200 development, a 550,000-square-foot mixed-use project occupying a prime location just four blocks from Seattle’s Central Business District, within walking distance of Nordstrom’s flagship retail store and six blocks  from scenic Lake Union.

The highly anticipated project represents another prominent example of the steady northern migration of downtown Seattle’s main epicenter of thriving retail, office and residential activity. The momentum of development in both the South Lake Union and Denny Triangle neighborhoods is expected to accelerate this trend, with over 10 projects anticipated to be under construction in the area this year.

The Seattle Streetcar, which will be operational in 2007, will also provide convenient access to nearby hubs including Westlake Center and the new South Lake Union Park. 2200 will also feature 261 condominium homes, one signature restaurant, 39,000 square feet of retail shops, a luxury spa, a 16,000-square-foot landscaped plaza and a 47,000-square-foot Whole Foods Market®.
