The formation of Global Cynergies, LLC, a venue selection company, was announced today (March 13, 2008). According to Founder and Managing Director, Pat Durocher, "Global Cynergies combines the experience of a global team to provide value based venue selection and other related services to its clients by using its knowledge, methodologies and industry relationships in more than 90 countries. We spent time gathering feedback from suppliers and industry professionals, added our own extensive experience and designed a company that meets the needs of everyone involved." Durocher added "We felt the timing was right to enter the market and IMEX offers us the ability to meet with our supplier contacts over a short period of time." Joining Durocher are Roger Stauffer, Director of Sales Support and Procurement, Amy Durocher, Director of Network Sales Support and Judy Henrich, Director of Recruitment and Industry Relationships. Most recently this group successfully developed and supported a network of 100 venue brokers in 35 countries in markets where the business model was virtually unknown to clients and suppliers alike. The global Cynergies team will focus on finding experienced industry professionals throughout the world and provide them with the best in class services. “Our goal is to synergize our collective efforts and activities to the benefit of our clients, the industry and each other.
