MPI's PEC-Europe Slated For 18-20 March In Copenhagen

Meeting Professionals International (MPI) announced three days of dynamic education and networking and an ideal forum to exchange best business practices at the 2007 Professional Education Conference-Europe (PEC-E), 18-20 March in Copenhagen, Denmark.

 

MPI is focused on member success and PEC-E provides education crucial to enhancing the skills of meeting professionals as leaders and strategic assets to their organisation.

 

The specially designed conference features motivational and educational sessions for all levels from- industry newcomers to experienced executives in key business categories, including meetings management, return on investment, technology, business skills development and more, with an additional focus on advanced and executive level education through special tracks and programmes.

 

MPI is “proud and honored” that Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary will serve as the official patroness of the conference and will attend the Opening General Session on Sunday, 18 March at the Bella Center.

 

HRH was born Mary Elizabeth Donaldson on 5 February 1972 in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, and is  the wife of Crown Prince Frederik, the heir apparent to the Danish throne. HRH also is patroness for Danish fashion and is the Hans Christian Andersen ambassador to Australia.

 

Highlights for the 2007 Professional Education Conference-Europe:

 

·         Increase leadership and global business skills with education sessions offering successful methods and best practices from leaders in our field.

·         Attendees can get reacquainted with colleagues or make new global connections at day and evening networking events in some of Denmark’s most exciting locales.

·         Rendezvous-Europe, benefiting the MPI Foundation, is 19 March at the Concert Hall Foyer in Tivoli Gardens.

·         The Opening Night Networking Event, 18 March, at the new Opera House is truly a royal event for a show, including the Royal Ballet, Opera and Theater, followed by a grand reception.

·         The Closing Night Gala is 20 March at the 120-year old Wallmans Salonger building in downtown Copenhagen.
