Pfeifer has been a member of MPI for 13 years, serving on the International Board of Directors and its Executive Committee for four years. With her industry-coveted certification, Pfeifer is one of only approximately 250 Certified Meeting Managers worldwide. She has extensive knowledge in the area of corporate meeting planning and has served in the meeting professional industry for more than 17 years. Her formal education background includes public relations, communications and business management. Beardsley has been a member of MPI for six years, volunteering with the MPI Foundation as a member on the Board of Trustees where he served on the Projects and Development Committee. Additionally, he served as Vice Chair of the Development Committee and has been a member of the MPI Chairpersons Advisory Council for the last five years. A 26-year veteran of the lodging industry, Beardsley has been with Marriott International and Renaissance Hotels and Resorts since 1986 and left only recently to start his own company, Inn Fluent, LLC. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of New Orleans.
