MCI has appointed Hugo Slimbrouck as Director of the Corporate Division, effective May 22th, 2006.

Slimbrouck is a Belgian born meetings industry professional with 30 years sales and marketing experience in international hotel groups, convention bureau management, destination management and the organization of corporate events, meetings, conferences and incentive travel in Belgium and abroad.

MCI Brussels Office has been servicing corporate clients for over 2 years with a focus on the healthcare sector. With this new appointment, MCI will be providing meetings and conferences, incentive travel, and creative production services to clients in Belgium.

The focus will be on international corporations and dynamic SMEs in the IT, Telecommunication, Automobile, Healthcare, and Financial Services sectors.

Hugo Slimbrouck is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Board of Directors of SITE and will serve as its 2007 President.

As a Past President of JMIC, the Joint Meetings Industry Council and member of other industry associations, Slimbrouck has extensive national and international experience in the field of the organization of meetings, incentives, conferences and events.
