Maritz Travel Company, a global leader in meeting, event and incentive travel management, announced that Christine Duffy is named president and chief executive officer of Maritz Travel, effective immediately.

Maritz Travel President and CEO Jeff Reinberg is leaving the company to pursue other career interests. Reinberg has made numerous contributions during his 28 years with Maritz. The company especially appreciates his leadership following Sept. 11 during very difficult business conditions. Having accomplished several specific business objectives, he is now ready to move on to other career opportunities.

Duffy comes to Maritz Travel with more than 20 years experience in the travel industry and was most recently president of Maritz McGettigan, which was acquired by Maritz in 2001. "Christine is extremely well-suited for this position, and I am confident that she has the critical skills to lead Maritz Travel," said John McArthur, chief operating officer at Maritz Inc.
