German hotel company Maritim Hotelgesellschaft mbH is now also represented in Belgium.

With immediate effect, Nathalie Coessens, previously responsible for the meetings, incentive, conference and event markets in Belgium and The Netherlands for Corinthia Hotels, will look after all Belgium Maritim clients and also after the corporate market clients from The Netherlands.

Her office in Bruxelles is located within the German National Tourist Office.

The foreign markets have shown continuous growth for Maritim in the past years and in 2005 held a share of close to 28% of all Maritim guests.

With 89,000 clients, the USA represent the strongest source market for the German hotel chain, 39,000 guests came from Belgium. Belgium thus ranks fifth after the United Kingdom, Japan and Switzerland.

With their new sales office in Bruxelles Maritim is now represented in nine locations outside Germany.

Offices can be found in Göteborg, London, Madrid, Milano, Paris, Utrecht, Zurich und New York.
