The GCB German Convention Bureau has gathered some 12 exhibitors from the German meetings, incentives, conference and events sector for EMIF Brussels, 11-12 May 2005:

BTZ - Bremer Touristik Zentrale, CCE Congress Center Essen, Congress Center Leipzig, Crowne Plaza Berlin City Centre, Hotel Berlin, Jolly Hotel Vivaldi Berlin, m:con Mannheim, MR Congress & Incentive, Munich Convention Bureau, Park Inn Berlin Alexanderplatz, Stuttgart Regio Marketing & Tourism and Rezidor SAS Hospitality.

These will be presenting an exciting overview of what Germany currently has on offer in the fields of conference and accommodation facilities, local service and supplier partners, targeted incentive programmes and exceptional event ideas.

This is the largest German presence at EMIF to-date -- with the GCB stand (stand number 210 - 212 - 213 - 214) growing in size from 16 sq. metres in 2004 to 50 sq. metres in 2005 -- a clear sign of confidence in an industry which is very much on the move.

MICE organizers and planners will be presented with excellent opportunities to make personal contact and enter business negotiations with German conference and meetings experts, incentive travel providers and local destination managers.

The GCB will also supply visitors to EMIF with all relevant information and details concerning the FIFA World Cup 2006 which will be held in Germany from 9th June 2006 to 9th July 2006 in twelve major cities.

The FIFA World Cup 2006 will offer MICE planners more than just 90 minutes sporting excitement in stadiums. There will be an accompanying series of public and VIP viewing events complimented by colourful street festivals featuring live stage acts from internationally acclaimed bands, singers and musicians. The state-of-the-art facilities will also be available long after the sporting events have duly run their course.

Visitors to the GCB stand may also collect their invitations to the GCB Germany Workshop - Meetings Made in Germany which takes place on Tuesday, 21st June 2005 in the Sheraton Brussels Hotel & Tower.

"German hospitality, professional, cost-effective and efficient handling and delivery of programmes and events along with the regional flair and engrossing charm of Germanys natural, historical and urban landscapes are what supply the unique, memorable and engaging experiences sought after by all involved in the meetings, incentive, conference and events business these days. That is why it is well worth visiting the GCB stand at EMIF 2005, having a good look round, networking and making it all happen for you in Germany in 2005 and in the years still to come!" says Lutz P. Vogt, Managing Director, GCB German Convention Bureau.
