The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is set to open its doors in June 2005. It is located in the park overlooking the landmark 88-storey This 100 acre development precinct is in the central business district of Kuala Lumpur and one of the largest real-estate developments in the world. Ultimately the area will provide 1.67 million square metres of commercial, retail, hotel, convention, residential and entertainment facilities within a park setting. The Convention Centre is purpose built for international, regional and local conventions, trade-shows, exhibitions, entertainment events and private functions and equipped with the latest in wireless telecommunications and digital audio-visual facilities and a five star in house catering service.
