Krisam Group, a national hotel representation firm, and Global Events Partners (GEP), a worldwide partnership of Destination Management Companies (DMCs) are reporting record bookings for 2004.  Their sister production company, August Jackson, is also reporting exceptional growth.

According to company founder, Chris White, “Bookings for both companies over the last 12 months greatly exceeded our projections.  Based on the strength of the meetings industry, we anticipate the pace of growth to continue in 2005.”

The Krisam Group sales team generated over $81 million in room revenue for their member hotels, reflecting a 17% increase over 2003.  Likewise, GEP’s revenue for DMC bookings grew 24%, exceeding $24 million.  White adds, “We were pleasantly surprised to find the most significant growth in bookings for our international DMC companies, reflecting a 210% increase. A large portion of this was U.S. outbound business.”

The August Jackson Company also posted strong results that exceeded billings and profit expectations, largely through three multi-year engagements that netted more than $4 million.  Founder and President Frank Andrews announced the relocation of their DC headquarters to accommodate this growth, and the opening of a Chicago office.

Krisam Group President, Jim Schultenover, states “Our 2004 results prove that our customers find great value in our three services:  site selection; destination management services; and production. These three offerings make us unique in the industry, as the one-stop shop for all your meeting needs.”
