International Confex, Europe's largest exhibition for the event industry has appointed James Drake-Brockman and Erika French as sector managers.
James brings over six years of exhibition experience to the role, including time on the Ideal Home Show, niche events and the successful launch of a major IT show. James will be focusing on the Overseas Venues, Destinations and Incentive Travel Sector (yellow); and Corporate Hospitality and Entertainment Sector (red).
Erika French is also highly experienced within the exhibition and publishing market, having worked as advertising manager for a leading consumer title before moving to CMPi in 2001. Since then she has worked on several exhibitions as well as Conference Blue and Green, the leading directory within the events industry. Erika will look after the UK Venues, Destinations and Incentive Travel Sector (blue); and Exhibition and Conference Support Services Sector (green).
Jessica Blue, event director, International Confex said: "Both sector managers will be working closely with the exhibitors, adding value to their Confex experience and ensuring them a successful exhibition. They will also be actively seeking new business and working on re-bookings for 2006. The appointment of James and Erika reflects our drive to continually improve Confex and ensure the event stays as the industry number one. Their extensive knowledge of exhibitions will be an invaluable asset to both Confex and the exhibitors as they join the team during the lead up to the show."
International Confex 2005 will run from 15th to 17th February 2005 at Earls Court 1, London, England. |
