Business travel and meetings and incentive industry professionals, and those just beginning their careers, can gain an important learning experience at AIME 2006, 14th AsiaPacific Meetings & Incentives Expo.

Incisive industry moderator Elizabeth Rich will be asking the hard questions at this year's Business Events Forum Day 1 - Trendspotting. The session offers 90 minutes of intense industry information from leading industry figures in Australia, Asia and Europe.

“I can't think of better value for anyone serious about what is happening in our industry on a broader front,” said forum moderator, Elizabeth Rich.

“Andrew Lee is a savvy rising star in the Asian market, with his expanding World Events Organization.

“Robin Lokerman from Europe and Roslyn McLeod from Australia are keen observers and senior practitioners in the international association market.

“Geoff Donaghy, Ogden IFC, manages Cairns, Brisbane, Kuala Lumpur and the new Darwin Convention Centre, with a move into the Middle East on the horizon,” said Ms Rich.

The Forum is a key event where industry leaders share their market opinions and take questions from Elizabeth Rich and the audience.

On Day 2 of the AIME Business Events Forum – Best in the Business Showcase – will feature some of the best events staged over the last 12 months.

“After the success of the "Best in the Business" session last year, Reed Travel Exhibitions decided a repeat performance was required, selecting challenging and outstanding events from the incentives, association, corporate and major events sectors,” said Ms Rich.

“Some of the industry's sharpest operators will generously share their experience in these behind the scenes case studies which include the Forbes CEO conference in Sydney 2005, an Arabian incentive to Africa, the World Nephrology Congress in Singapore 2005, and special events linked to this year's Melbourne Commonwealth Games.  Thirty-year industry veteran Ian Stuart will facilitate this fast and fascinating session.”

The AIME Business Events Forum – Day 1 and 2 - runs from 8am to 9.45am on Tuesday & Wednesday, 6 & 7 June, at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Australia.
