The UK and Ireland Chapter of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) has elected a new member - Ciarán Hynes Managing Director of Bravo! to join its proactive Chapter Committee.

Ciarán Hynes is one of the most experienced individuals in the conference and event management industry and has extensive national and international experience with major conferences and events.

He’s previously been responsible for the largest conference ever held in Ireland – with 5,000 delegates, the country’s first satellite-linked event, held in three separate locations and Ireland’s biggest budget gala dinner. Ciarán was also a cofounder and first chair of the Association of Irish Professional Conference Organisers.

Headed by Brian Horsburgh of Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, the other Chapter Committee members are:

• Ciarán Hynes – Bravo Group, Dublin
• Stephen Norcliffe – QEII Conference Centre
• Lesley Stephen – Edinburgh International Conference Centre
• Ian Taylor – Marketing Birmingham
