The award is presented every year to a supplier who provides a consistent service of excellence at major meetings. The Palais des Congrès de Paris was nominated by Patrizia Semprebeme Buongiorno, from the Rome based office of conference organiser AISC & MGR following the 14th European Meeting in Hypertension at the venue on June 13-17, 2004 with more than 8000 delegates. Inge Hanser, IAPCO president, said: “The award is given in recognition of the fact that the Palais des Congrès de Paris has played a major part in helping its city become the world capital of international congresses.”
