Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s School of Hotel & Tourism Management and the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas will jointly host and organize the 2003 Convention and Expo Summit In Hong Kong, China on May 27-29, 2003.

 

With Hong Kong being one of the leading convention and exposition destinations in Asia, it presents an excellent site for this gathering. Established in 1990, the Convention & Expo Summit has been held on an annual basis in Las Vegas, Nevada.

 

Reflecting the growing importance and significance of conventions and expositions in Asia, it will be hosted in Hong Kong in 2003. The Summit will provide educators, researchers, industry practitioners and representatives of professional industry associations in the conventions, meetings and expositions field with a forum for exchange of information and debate.

 

The program will feature competitively selected paper presentations, panels and workshops. Prominent industry leaders are invited to deliver keynote speeches. Site visits in the Pearl River Delta area will be arranged.
