HICC opened in January 2006 with the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas event. Since then, it has attracted several national and international events including Asian Development Bank’s 39^th AGM in 2006, International Astronautical Congress in 2007, Bancon 2006, World Map Congress 2006, National Opthalmological Meet 2007, International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence in 2007, Suntec Days in 2007 & 2008, Bioasia in 2006, 2007 and 2008, Asia Pacific Conference on Reproductive & sexual Health in 2007, etc. With the new international airport at Shamshabad, Hyderabad is now on the rise in terms of MICE.
