Global Events Partners (GEP), a worldwide partnership of Destination Management Companies (DMC), has expanded into Northern Africa and the Middle East and now represents the two premier DMCs of the regions - Gulf Dunes, LLC in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Activ’Travel in Morocco.

Chris White, Chairman & CEO of Global Events Partners, states, “By adding these two DMCs, GEP has gone into destinations in the world where program management, now more so than ever, requires reputable DMCs for cultural, language and comfort reasons.  We couldn’t be more excited to add these two companies to our impressive roster.  They are truly the best in their area and with our new office in Europe, feel that this will help us serve our worldwide clients better – by offering even more destinations.”

Gulf Dunes, LLC is the first DMC from the Middle East added to the GEP roster. When asked what made GEP an attractive business partner, company executive, Wolfgang Hartmann stated, that GEP was an ideal partner because GEP is a “well established brand…[and has a] strong vision regarding professional standards in terms of quality and service.”  Mr. Hartmann emphasized that Gulf Dunes would benefit from joining GEP because of the “excellent [prospects] for possible cross-selling through the worldwide network of DMCs [and the] extremely valuable exchange of information, know-how and trends among all partners.”

Gulf Dunes has been the market leader in the MICE industry for Dubai for the past ten years and has a multinational, multilingual staff that specializes in large programs, they been chosen as the preferred partner for custom, tailor made meetings, incentives and conferences for some of the world’s largest organizations.

On the neighboring continent, in the northwestern tip of Africa is Morocco.  Activ’Travel proudly represents Morocco and as one of the closest exotic destinations to Europe and the United States, they have been successfully executing programs for six years.  Their expertise ranges from incentives, seminars and product launches to tours, transportation and a host of other tourism activities.  Morocco’s reputation for hospitality has made it a much sought-after tourist and business destination.
