On an annual basis, coinciding with the Confex trade fair in London , M&IT magazine recognises excellence within the industry by hosting a special awards evening.

This year’s event took place in the ballroom of the Park Lane Hilton on February 14th and was attended by more than 500 guests representing the “crème de la crème” of the industry worldwide and with HRH The Princess Royal as a special guest.

For only the second year in the long history of the awards, categories were included to acknowledge the contribution of Destination Management Companies to the planning and execution of high quality meetings and incentive events.

After winning the first ever award in the DMC category last year Cititravel was the proud winner of this year’s award as “Best Destination Management Company - Meetings” based entirely on the votes of more than 4,000 M&IT Magazine readers.

Cititravel, based in the Costa de Sol with modern headquarters in Málaga, has offices strategically spread throughout Spain covering Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Valencia, the Canary Islands and the Balearics.
