Excel London has launched its new website - www.excel-london.co.uk.

With a fresher and more colourful design, the new-look portal has increased functionality and is aimed at providing clear, precise and event specific information to all sectors of the venue’s business.

Conference and events division managing director Vanessa Cotton said: “The new site is set up to be as user-friendly and logical as possible. Our business doesn't just have one type of customer whereby a single set of facts and figures will meet everyone’s needs.”

“We wanted to communicate the Excel London experience and speak to each of them in their own language and in a way that reflects their individual needs – be they a meeting planner or an international delegate attending a conference at our venue.”

Useful information can easily be downloaded, from detailed floor plans and capacity charts, virtual tours and photo gallery to details about onsite and neighbouring hotels, bars, restaurants and other local attractions.

Visitors are also able to find out more about the venue’s service partners, including Leith’s catering and Blitz AV, as well as information on in-house IT and communication service providers.

Of particular help to conference and event organisers is the ability to download MeetingMatrix™ – an event set-up software solution allowing users to transform easily any of the venue’s event spaces into certified 2-D floor plans, 3-D room set-ups and 'fly-throughs'.

Organisers are also able to print the venue’s award-winning ‘Here’s the plan’ – a comprehensive guide providing all the relevant information needed to host a successful event in the capital, with facts and figures on the city’s transport infrastructure, details of accommodation to suit all budgets, news on inspiring new reception venues and recommended tours and activities for delegates and their partners.
