EventRebels.com, provider of Web-based tools for taking meeting management to the next level, today announced that it plans to launch its new meeting management and event registration software in early September of this year.

Designed for professional meeting planners, the software includes tools for online and offline registration, credit card processing, pro-active communication via email and FAX, dynamic meeting Web site, project management using documented best practices, and instant reporting.

EventRebels.com is a new entrant into the online meeting planning software market and uses the Application Service Provider (ASP) model. This super-reliable software is hosted at a secure Internet hosting provider and is backed-up by state-of the art customer service.

"We are still finding organizations who have an email response form on their web site and call it online registration," said K.C. Hopson, president of EventRebels.com. "With a such a system there is a lot of manual processing to be done. We believe that registration should be a two-step process: 1) setup a meeting plan, and 2) read the reports. Our system is designed to deliver that experience to meeting and event planners across the country. This frees them from the mundane tasks and allows them to focus on creating meaningful meetings."

The firm's founders, K.C. Hopson and Charles Karow, are software developers and entrepreneurs who have worked together on several projects over the past several years. They have many years of experience in software development and have direct experience in event planning through their dealings with corporations and professional and volunteer organizations. The President of EventRebels.com is K.C. Hopson, who has authored two critically acclaimed books on Java, and has repeatedly led major companies with novel solutions to highly complex software problems.

Mr. Hopson has over 14 years of software development experience, having done work for numerous companies, large and small, including UPS, IBM, Novell, Bell Atlantic, BGE, and Capital One. Mr. Hopson formed Interactive Engines, Inc. with three other partners in 1995.

Mr. Hopson was Chief Technology Officer of the company until the explosion of the Internet eclipsed the interactive television technology. The Vice-President is Charles Karow, another highly innovative software developer who recently co-founded NetFanatics (now g1440), a fast growing Web development and consulting firm.

He designed, and led a team to develop, a web application that, in the words of the client, "revolutionized the cleaning industry." In 1987, Mr. Karow founded Karow Associates, Inc. a small software consultancy. EventRebels.com is an online meeting management and registration service that helps meeting and event planners by automating mundane tasks, and producing meetings that enhance strategic objectives.

Unlike other online registration services, the EventRebels.com software is incredibly flexible and customizable. For additional information on EventRebels.com or the products that they offer visit their Web site at http://www.EventRebels.com or call (410) 461-2649.
